In your opinion, why should future students know about this person?
The young generation should learn about Marcus Crassus because he was a great man who made a lot of money and was an important member in the First Triumvirate, with Caesar as his leader. He was the wealthiest man in the world at this point in time.He lead many wars, some won and some lost. He also helped gain a lot of land to the Roman Empire. Marcus Crassus was a helpful person to the great leader, Julius Caesar. Caesar's son,
Octavion, was then the next great leader of the Roman Empire. If Crassus had not helped Julius Caesar with some decisions, the Roman Empire may not have prospered as well as it did.
